Daniel Sifford built this house for himself but he ran out of money and could not afford to finish. The house was finished by A.I. Vorys who added the large porch. It has been sold in 2005 by the American Legion to private individuals. At this time it is not open to the public.
The building features an unusually fine carved stone entrance. Acanthus carved detail, unusual cornice in back of building.
