The Woodin-Stoughton home was built by C.W. & Mary G. Woodin during 1897 on the north portion of lots 145 & 146, part of original lot # 15 of square 13. C.W. Woodin and Charles P. Wiseman were prominent dry goods salesmen whose business was located at 123-125 West main Street.
