The Sherman Statue in the Zane Square Park right in front of the Visitors Bureau entrance was unveiled in 2000 for Lancaster's Bicentennial celebration.
Behind the statue is the Lancaster-Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce at 109 N Broad St. where visitors to Lancaster can pick up a cassette and earphones to begin a self-guided walking tour through the streets and alleys where the famous and infamous of Lancaster, Ohio have trod.
